Concept Analysis of Advocacy

Abstract
Considering advocacy as a sociological point of view, we can say that it is a struggle to change the law system and the policy which it influences most of us in our daily life.

There are many literatures about being a supporter as a nurse, yet efficiency of supporting a patient is not being considered, to make the nurse to have a efficiency in supporting the patient, we need to clear the idea of advocacy in nursing.

This researchers analyzed the Advocacy with wilson¡¯s method(1963)¡¯s eleven steps and made the main idea clear.

After analyzing, the important factors of advocacy are shown below.

1. The patient and the nurse should remain in positive relationship.

2. The supporter must have an good ethical judgment, a full grown morality and a specialty in knowledge.

3. The supporter must protect the patient who is in the week position.

4. The supporter must aim at the patients rights.

5. The supporter must have the courage to be shortened for the justice.

6. The supporter must make the patient make one¡¯s own decision.

7. The supporter is an peace maker between the patient and her self.

8. The supporter support and defense the patient.

9. Advocacy is base on human rights, value of a human and a dignity of human.
